ATEL- READING COMPETITION

ATEL- READING COMPETITION 2015-2016

SSCC-DAMOUR decided with the principals to enter ATEL reading competition 2015/2016 for Primary and complementary classes. It scored amazing results which honored us as a family especially the English language teachers MIRNA AL AYASH (complementary classes) and LILLIAN RICHANI (Primary P2 and complementary classes), under coordinator’s supervision ( Mr. RENE KARAM) that put their hearts for this event to occur.

Every year, ATEL PRESIDENT, Mr. RENE KARAM overseeing wider professional development, providing support and assessing progress, introduced active learning strategies such as

“THINK, PAIR and SHARE.”

The significant lesson of this competition is to read, learn new words and create new things. Obviously, we are really looking forward to seeing who in school has such a passion for reading that they have to do it anywhere and everywhere !

Moreover, it gives our students some experience as :

1. SELF – CONFIDENCE
2. LEARN THE CONCEPT OF RESPONSIBILITY
3. DEVELOPMENT OF THEIR CREATIVITY
